TickerTalk™
Privacy Policy
How TickerTalk™ collects, uses, protects, and manages information associated with the market education platform. Last updated: August 12, 2026.
Who We Are
TickerTalk™ (tickertalk.pro) is a knowledge-base education platform. We are not investment advisors or brokers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account: your name, email address, and optional profile details such as country, timezone, preferred currency, and language.
Sign-in and security data
When you sign in, we record the date and time of the sign-in, the IP address your request came from, and basic browser/device information (the “user agent” string). We collect this for account security, fraud prevention, and audit purposes — for example, to help detect unauthorized access to your account. This data is retained only as long as needed for those purposes and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure, consistent with applicable data protection laws (including the GDPR where it applies).
Usage content
Content you create on the platform, such as watchlists, notes, discussions, and research memos generated from your inputs.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe shares only the identifiers needed to manage your subscription.
How We Use Information
- To provide and personalize the platform, such as showing your country's market data
- To keep your account secure and detect unauthorized access
- To process subscriptions and payments
- To comply with legal obligations
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not use your data to make recommendations — the platform is education-only
- We do not store full payment card details on our servers
Service Providers We Share Data With
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the platform. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function:
- Stripe — payment processing. Receives your email and billing details; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Resend — email delivery for verification codes and account emails. Receives your email address.
- Neon — database hosting. Stores your account data and platform content on encrypted infrastructure.
- OpenAI — powers AI features such as content moderation and educational summaries. Receives the text you submit to those features; we do not send your name, email, or payment details.
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it in the United States or other jurisdictions, subject to their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences such as your theme. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through your account or the platform's support channels.
Deleting your account: You can delete your account and personal data yourself at any time from Settings → Security → Delete Account. This removes your profile, posts, watchlists, and portfolios, and cancels any active subscription immediately. Limited billing records may be retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations.
